Your family has a choice

Why local, family-operated care matters.

Pet cremation providers can look similar from the outside, but the people, ownership and process behind the service may be very different. Families deserve to know who will care for their beloved pet.

2000

Growing alongside Southern Utah

Forever Friends began when our community was much smaller.

When our small business started in 2000, only a handful of veterinary offices served local families. Southern Utah has grown tremendously since then. New neighborhoods, new veterinary practices and large corporate pet-care companies have all become part of the area.

Through all that change, Forever Friends has remained local. We are still a small family business built on personal responsibility, familiar faces and the belief that every pet deserves gentle, individual care.

Understanding the difference

Two very different ways of providing care

Ownership does not tell you everything about a provider, but it can affect who makes decisions, who handles your pet and how directly the business is accountable to your family.

Corporate-owned provider

A larger organization

  • May serve many cities, states or veterinary networks
  • Care may pass through several employees or facilities
  • Policies and decisions may be set outside the local community
  • The family may not know the person who handles each step

Privately owned & family-operated

One local family

  • Angel personally cares for your pet from beginning to end
  • You speak directly with the person responsible for their care
  • Decisions are made locally, here in Southern Utah
  • Will handcrafts the real-wood urns in Toquerville

These are general differences between business models. Families are encouraged to ask every provider who will handle their pet, where the cremation will take place and how their pet will be identified throughout care.

The Forever Friends difference

Personal accountability cannot be outsourced.

When you call Forever Friends, you reach Angel—not a call center. She receives your pet, oversees their individual cremation and returns them home to you. Your family always knows who is responsible.
